SUMMARY:
Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer--they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one terrible and wonderful summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along. -Goodreads.com

REViEW:
The Summer I  Turned Pretty's plot was very well done. I really, really loved this book. I devoured this book in a day. It was just so interesting I couldn't put it down. I didn't have any high expectations for this book when I bought it, but now I'm definitely glad I read it. By the cover I thought this was going to be a really cheesy chick-lit book, but it's really much deeper than that. It's a romance but it's a very realistic love story. This book isn't all about the romance either. It also has parts about friendship, falling in love, and family problems. This book is very heartwarming and the perfect way to end the summer.

The characters were just, if not more, amazing than the plot. They were very well down and very vivid. All of the characters, especially Belly, were very realistic. I was able to easily relate to them and could feel their emotions. Jeremiah and Conrad's attitudes were so realistic and I later understand along with Belly everything they were going through. I really felt like I was going to cry when Belly did. This entire book really connected with me on an emotional level.

Wow. I did not see this ending coming. It's probably the best ending I have read in a long time! It was so good, I couldn't even blink. I really wish I had a exciting summer like Belly's. She caught the eyes of three very lucky men while I read... all summer.

My Favorite Part: I loved the entire book. Especially the characters and the summer vibe of this book. It was a very relaxing read.

ALL iN ALL:
Do I recommend this book? Absolutely! It's the perfect book for summer and just had a good feeling to it.
Will I be reading the sequel? Totally, this is now one of my favorite books!

Thanks for reading! I love receiving comments, so comment if you have the time! I would enjoy hearing what people think and would love to get some recommendations!

This is the fourth book in The Vampire Academy series, I will not post any intentional spoilers but please do not keep reading if you have not read Vampire Academy, Frostbite, and Shadow Kiss.
SUMMARY:
This summary has a MAJOR spoiler in it but if you still want to read it here is the link to goodreads.

REViEW:
I know probably every YA fan has already finished this series, but I just had to post my thought about this book. If you finished Shadow Kiss you probably ran out and got this book immediately. Honestly, this wasn't my favorite book in the series. It was slow and didn't have much action in it. This book was completely necessary to the plot though. I'm sure it will help more the plot into motion in Spirit Bound. Not much happened in this book but it set up great things to happen in Spirit Bound.

The characters in this book were a lot better than in the previous books. I understood why some characters did what they did and was able to relate to each character. Rose showed some weaknesses which made her more realistic. I didn't like Lissa as much in this book, but her story made sense. Dimitri... I didn't really like him in this book, but that was understandable. I also didn't like Adrian as much in this book. Christian was really realistic. I understood his feelings and agreed with them.

The ending was a little bit shocking. I was expecting a little bit more ,but it still made me anxious to start reading the next book. So if you haven't read the Vampire Academy series yet, go buy it now! It's nothing like Twilight and is a very unique and good vampire book.

My Favorite Part: Rose. It was the first time she felt real to me.

ALL iN ALL:
Do I recommend this book? Yes because this series really is amazing!!
Will I be reading the next book? Yes, I just bought it!

Thank you all for reading! I would love to hear what you think about the Vampire Academy Series.

SUMMARY:
Elena: the golden girl, the leader, the one who can have any boy she wants.
Stefan: brooding and mysterious, he seems to be the only one who can resist Elena, even as he struggles to protect her from the horrors that haunt his past.
Damon: sexy, dangerous, and driven by an urge for revenge against Stefan, the brother who betrayed him. Determined to have Elena, he'd kill to possess her.

Collected here in one volume for the first time, volumes one and two of The Vampire Diaries, the tale of two vampire brothers and the beautiful girl torn between them. -Goodreads.com

REViEW:
I picked up this book because I loved the TV show. I expected the books to be identical to the show. The books are completely different than the show but was very interesting to read after watching the show. The Awakening's plot was pretty intriguing. I had to question Stefan's past and was very interested when he began confiding in Elena. I wish there was a more romance in this book, but thats only because I was expecting it to be like Twilight.

I liked the characters, but I had some issues with them. Elena was a little too stuck-up to me. It's probably just because I'm more of a Bella than a popular cheerleader. I did like how Elena grew throughout the story, but thought it was kind of sudden. I have to be honest, I love Stefan. He was well written and I could picture him being very attractive and a typical brooding vampire. I really think Damon is super interesting. Sure, he's the "bad brother", but I just find him really attractive. I mean, who doesn't like a bad boy? I really enjoyed the sense of mystery he brought to the book.

I expected the ending to end with a big bang, and was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I loved the ending, but wish there was more too it. I liked the simplicity and the cliffhanger though. It was very well done and makes me want to sink my teeth into the next book right NOW!

My Favorite Part: Damon and Stefan... they are just jaw-dropping.

ALL iN ALL:
Do I recommend this book? Yup, it's nothing like the tv show but just as exciting.
Will I be reading the sequel? Yes because I really like this series!

Thank you for reading! I love getting comments, so feel free to comment! I love hearing what people think and like getting recommendations!

This is the third book in The Immortals series, I will not post any intentional spoilers but please do not keep reading if you have not read Evermore and Blue Moon.

SUMMARY:
Ever and Damen have traveled through countless past lives—and fought off the world’s darkest enemies—so they could be together forever.  But just when their long-awaited destiny is finally within reach, a powerful curse falls upon Damen…one that could destroy everything.  Now a single touch of their hands or a soft brush of their lips could mean sudden death—plunging Damen into the Shadowland.   Desperate to break the curse and save Damen, Ever immerses herself in magick—and gets help from an unexpected source…a surfer named Jude.
Although she and Jude have only just met, he feels startlingly familiar.  Despite her fierce loyalty to Damen, Ever is drawn to Jude, a green-eyed golden boy with magical talents and a mysterious past.  She’s always believed Damen to be her soulmate and one true love—and she still believes it to be true.  But as Damen pulls away to save them, Ever’s connection with Jude grows stronger—and tests her love for Damen like never before… -Goodreads.com

REViEW:
Ok I have to start out by saying that I did not hate this book , but I wasn't to fond of it either. The plot was okay. There wasn't much happening in this book. I was bored during half of this book. The only reason I think I read this series is for Damen. When he is out of the picture, this book is nothing special. The beginning of this book had a fast pace but that ended and was not found again until the very end. In my opinion, this book was a waste. There were a lot of things that had me saying "Seriously? Was that really necessary?". Nothing drastic happened in the plot and I can only hope things speed back up in Dark Flame.

The characters- Ughhh I really do not like Ever. I just cannot stand her. She is constantly messing things up and just plain acting stupid. I can only hope she grows up in the next book. Damen saves the book. If it wasn't for him those first few chapters, I probably would not have read this book. He's just so romantic and so perfect. Roman was the typical villain. Jude was pretty believable. I did not share Ever's attracting to him just because of his appearance. I mean, seriously dreadlocks? Is that the best you can do? Especially with Damen nearby. Aside from Ever, every character was believable and had a great and unique personality.

The Ending of Shadowland was a shock to me. After 200 wasted pages, the ending left me in awe. The awe started because of excitement but then I was in awe over Ever's stupidity. Ever should seriously know by know that Damen knows best.

My Favorite Part: Damen! And Jude's personality- it brightened the entire book :)

ALL iN ALL:
Do I recommend this book? Only if you want to see more Damen and want to keep reading this series.
Will I be reading the sequel? I don't really know why, but yes. I keep believeing this series is going to get better.
