SUMMARY:
For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people's dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie's seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime.
She can't tell anybody about what she does they'd never believe her, or worse, they'd think she's a freak. So Janie lives on the fringe, cursed with an ability she doesn't want and can’t control. Then she falls into a gruesome nightmare, one that chills her to the bone. For the first time, Janie is more than a witness to someone else's twisted psyche. She is a participant. -Goodreads.com

REViEW:
Wake's plot was very interesting. I thought the whole idea of someone getting sucked into other people's dreams was very unique. I kind of expected there to be more about Janie's "powers'' but I guess that is why there is a sequel. I do think that more questions should've been answered in this book and that Janie played a bigger role in the ending. I did like the pace, though. This was an extremely fast read.
The characters were kind of bland to me. I really can't say I got to know or relate to Janie. I wish I could've gotten to get to know her better. I did like Cabel, he was interesting and his story made sense to me. I hope I can get to know everyone better in the sequel.
Honestly, I was hoping the ending had more excitement to it. I really wish that Janie played a bigger part, which I think she will in the next books. It was a let down for me. The ending wasn't really a cliffhanger but I think I'll read the sequel because it's an easy read and it is interesting.
My Favorite Part: The fast pace and the entire plot.
ALL iN ALL:
Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's thrilling and an easy book to read.
