SUMMARY:

In L.A. CANDY, nineteen-year-old Jane Roberts moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality T.V. show. With fame comes wealth, hot clothes and even hotter love interests -- and Jane′s lapping it all up with her eclectic entourage of pals who are always up for a wild night out and the chance to get a piece of her spotlight. But soon Jane realizes everyone wants something from her, and nothing is what it seems to be.
L.A. CANDY is a fast-paced, honest and entertaining fictional account of what it′s like to come of age in Hollywood while starring in a reality TV show, written by a girl who has experienced it all firsthand: Lauren Conrad. -Goodreads.com

REViEW:
The plot of L.A. Candy was pretty good. It was interesting but didn't have that wow factor. I haven't read a book based on L.A. life so it was a new experience. This book had a really fast pace, but had a few slow moments. Overall the plot and pace was very good but the writing wasn't the best.

The characters were pretty well done. There were a lot of different personalities and seemed to portray L.A. perfectly. I really did not connect to any of the characters and didn't really understand some motives in the story. The one thing I really didn't like was how Jane kept moving from one guy to another. It didn't really make sense to me.

The ending was a major cliffhanger. I did not see this coming. I wish it ended on a prettier note, but all in all the ending was pretty good.

My Favorite Part: I guess the setting. I've always wanted to go to L.A. and this gave me a nice taste of it.

ALL iN ALL:
Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's a fast summer read.
Will I be reading the sequel? Yes because of the MAJOR cliffhanger!

Thanks for reading! I love comment, so comment please! I really enjoy hearing what people think and love getting some recommendations!

REViEW:
The plot of Beautiful Creatures was breathtaking. I cannot explain how much I loved this book! For as long as this book was, there was never a dull moment. I enjoyed every minute of it. This is a long book though, it took me a long time to get through it, not because it was boring but rather because it's LONG. It's so good that you never want to put it down. I thought that I wouldn't like reading from a male perspective, but it was so easy to read. I loved how deeply he cared for Lena and really thought his point of view was interesting.

Wow, the characters were AMAZING! Lena and Ethan were relatable and completely fascinating. Some of these characters were a little strange, but I loved them just the same. The romance between Lena and Ethan really entranced me. It was real yet unreal at the same time. It was really extraordinary.

The ending did not disappoint me at all. This amazing journey ended with an unexpected BANG! I loved it. I can't wait to read the next book.

My Favorite Part: I loved everything, but I would have to say I enjoyed the romance the most. Ethan and Lena had a lot to deal with, and they seemed real to me.

ALL iN ALL:

Will I be reading the sequel? Yes, ordering it right now :)
